Becoming an Acolyte

To become an acolyte at Connecticut Korean Presbyterian Church, you are required to participate in our Acolyte Introduction & Training program. This comprehensive program ensures that you are well-prepared and knowledgeable about your responsibilities as an acolyte.

During the training program, you will learn about the significance and symbolism behind various rituals and duties performed by acolytes. This includes understanding the proper handling of liturgical items, such as candles and crosses, and the appropriate timing and positioning during different parts of the worship service.

Our dedicated team of experienced trainers will guide you through the training process, offering support and answering any questions you may have. We prioritize your safety and well-being, ensuring that you have the necessary knowledge to fulfill your role responsibly.
