Welcome to ACS Fifth Grade!

At Connecticut Korean Presbyterian Church, we are proud to offer ACS Fifth Grade, a comprehensive program designed to provide fifth-grade students with a faith-centered education and a nurturing community. Our aim is to support their academic, spiritual, and personal growth, allowing them to develop into well-rounded individuals.

A Faith-Centered Education

ACS Fifth Grade is dedicated to instilling strong Christian values and fostering a deep understanding of our faith. Through our curriculum, students are exposed to biblical teachings, participate in prayer sessions, and engage in discussions on moral values. Our highly qualified and dedicated teachers guide students in their spiritual journey, helping them develop a lifelong connection with God.

Academic Excellence

Our fifth-grade program places a strong emphasis on academic excellence. We recognize the importance of providing a solid foundation in core subjects such as Mathematics, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. Through a combination of engaging classroom instruction and hands-on learning experiences, we strive to cultivate a love for learning and encourage curiosity and critical thinking.

Mathematics

In the ACS Fifth Grade Mathematics curriculum, students deepen their understanding of mathematical concepts and build essential problem-solving skills. With a focus on real-world applications, our students not only develop proficiency in mathematical operations but also learn to analyze and solve complex problems.

Language Arts

Through our Language Arts program, students enhance their reading, writing, and communication skills. They explore a wide range of literary genres, learn effective writing techniques, and develop the ability to articulate their thoughts and ideas with clarity and confidence.

Science

ACS Fifth Grade offers a captivating Science curriculum that sparks curiosity and promotes scientific inquiry. Students explore various scientific disciplines, conduct experiments, and develop critical thinking skills while fostering a deeper understanding of the natural world.

Social Studies

Our comprehensive Social Studies curriculum takes students on a journey through history, geography, and culture. They explore different civilizations, analyze historical events, and develop a global perspective to better understand the interconnectedness of societies around the world.
