Welcome to the Social Ministry page of Connecticut Korean Presbyterian Church in Torrington. We are a vibrant community that actively engages in various initiatives to make a positive impact on society, bringing people together through faith and beliefs. Our Social Ministry program is aimed at addressing the needs of the local community and fostering a sense of unity among different groups.

Our Commitment to Community and Society

Supporting the Local Community

Our Social Ministry programs encompass a wide range of areas, including but not limited to:

  • Food Pantry: We run a food pantry that provides essential groceries to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Through generous donations and the support of our dedicated volunteers, we are able to help those in need receive the nutrition they require.
  • Shelter Assistance: We work closely with local homeless shelters to offer support and resources to individuals experiencing homelessness. Our volunteers contribute their time and resources to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable populations.
  • Academic Tutoring: Education is a valuable asset, and we strive to provide academic support for students from all backgrounds. Our tutoring programs assist students in reaching their full potential and achieving academic success.
